Hardware Retailing Magazine - Featuring Joe Franquinha

Right before the busy holiday season, I left for a trip to meet with fellow business owners and industry professionals at the NRHA State of Independence Conference in Chicago.

Since Crest Hardware has been a staple in Williamsburg and continues to grow throughout our 50+ years in business, I was invited to give a presentation highlighting the strengths that have allowed us to serve the community for so many years. It was truly a wonderful experience being able to share our philosophy with others within our industry.

I believe that we have built something special through service, community and the loyalty & trust we’ve been able to develop with our customers.

Young Retailer of the Year!

This past month our very own 'BossMan', Crest Hardware owner, Joseph Franquinha, was awarded the honor of 'Young Retailer of the Year' by the North American Retail Hardware Association.

The honor is awarded to young professionals in the hardware retail industry, who have shown achievements in areas of career accomplishments, community involvement, hardware industry education and extracurricular activities.

Joseph was awarded the honor for his outstanding accomplishments in store renovation and improvement, marketing, and his work within the community.  

On behalf of the Crest Hardware team, we congratulate Joseph on receiving this prestigious honor and for all of his diligence  and drive to make Crest Hardware the #1 Hardware Store in NYC!
